Leslie is a 2015 Society of Newspaper Columnists award winner and an international syndicated columnist. She, and her 20-year recurrent cancer, currently live with her husband Marty, dogs Maggie and Hazel, a collection of fish, said husband's cockatoo -- which she's been trying to roast for dinner for the last 32 years -- and a few occasional uninvited guests.
